The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the Provision of Watchhouse Meals to the Rockhampton Watchhouse.

The Watchhouse is attached to the local Police station and operates 24 hours per day. The Watchhouse staff are responsible for the custody, safety, and wellbeing of prisoners and has the capacity to accommodate 24 people.

Rockhampton Watchhouse is located on Bolsover Street, Rockhampton and operates 24 hours per day. Watchhouse staff are responsible for the custody, safety, and wellbeing of prisoners. Rockhampton Watchhouse has the capacity to accommodate 22 prisoners with approximately 12-15 persons in custody on a daily basis (this figure is a guide only and the QPS does not guarantee or imply the actual number of meals required each day).

Queensland Police Service is seeking quotes from accredited food and beverage suppliers to provide three nutritious and varied meals per day to prisoners.

The three main meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner and must be provided each day, every day of the year including weekends and all public holidays. Meals are required to be wholesome and varied, catering to medical conditions and allergies.

We are seeking responses from compliant suppliers for the provision of all, or part of the meal requirements.
