ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The Gilgandra local government area is situated in the central west of NSW and covers an area of 4800 square kilometers, including the township of Gilgandra and three smaller villages of Tooraweenah, Armatree and Curban.
ABOUT THE QUOTATION: Gilgandra Shire Council ('GSC'/'Council') is committed to delivering and maintaining high quality public green spaces. Planning, designing, managing, and maintaining public green space is an essential responsibility of the Council. In order to direct this, the Council is developing a Gilgandra Region Green Space Strategy aligned to the broader Gilgandra Region Community Strategic Plan.
A key challenge facing the Council is ensuring our green spaces are meeting the needs and expectations of our community, allowing them to Live>Enjoy>Grow>, while catering to an increasing number of visitors to the Region. Council is committed to providing high-quality, accessible, and sustainable public green spaces, working with our community to protect and enhance these spaces for current and future generations
REGISTRATION: Quotation documents may be obtained after registration.
ENQUIRIES: Quotation enquiries should be directed via the online forum.
SUBMISSIONS: Gilgandra Shire Council requests quotations to be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below) using either the attached word or pdf version of the Schedule.
Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
LOCAL PURCHASING POLICY: Gilgandra Shire Council has a local purchasing policy.
STATEMENT OF BUSINESS ETHICS: Gilgandra Shire Council will undertake this quotation in accordance with its Statement of Business Ethics.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Quotations close at 11am on Friday, 26 July 2024 and submissions must be FULLY RECEIVED BY THIS TIME. The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Quotation or all or any part of a Quotation and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Quotation process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
