Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Offers for the provision of services related to expansion of the Growing Deadly Families (GDF) Strategy by delivery of ongoing services to improve the health of First Nations people with a focus on culturally and clinically safe, timely and appropriate maternal health services in Queensland by eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations (A&TSICCHOs) under a Service Agreement as specified in the ITO pack of documents.
These services will specifically address one or more of three GDF Strategy Priorities;
- Partnerships for Governance and Leadership
- Continuity of Carer
- Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce and support into Health Services
The scope of the potential Service Agreement will cover the following requirements:
- Services to be delivered that align with the objectives of the Strategy, will achieve the desired KPIs and respond to mandatory and highly desirable criteria; and
- Minor capital works or equipment to enable services to be delivered (i.e. upgrading air conditioning, replacing flooring, building façade upgrades, clinic upgrades or equipment).
It does not include:
- major capital works or construction (i.e. new infrastructure, expanding/extending existing infrastructure, purchasing property);
- purchasing of major equipment;
- purchase of motor vehicles;
- website updates;
- medical research; and
- overseas travel.
