Tender Description
The Electricity Authority is looking to procure a high performing website that delivers an excellent consumer experience while enabling users to compare retail electricity plans, and to help them switch to a new retailer and/or plan if desired.
The Authority will soon begin a two-stage procurement process. This will start with a Registration of Interest (ROI) in July/August, followed by a Request for Proposals (RFP) later in the year. The Authority’s intention is to have the website live and operating by 1 July 2025.
This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a developing but crucial part of the electricity industry in New Zealand: consumer mobility.
If awarded this contract, you will work with the Authority to help shape the future and the face of consumer choice in NZ electricity.
