Tender Description
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is Australia’s leading trade and investment agency and helps connect Australian businesses to the world and the world to Australian businesses. Our services include:
• Helping Australian businesses pursue international business expansion, focussing on export facilitation and in-market support through our network of over 60 offices around the world.
• Identifying and working with international customers to buy Australian goods and services.
• Attracting investment to Australia, to support new industries, enhance existing ones and bolster our world-class research and development – strengthening global supply chains, creating local jobs and boosting the economy.
Austrade is also responsible for:
• The international marketing and promotion of Australian education and training.
• Administering the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program which helps Australian small to medium enterprises grow their exports by supporting them to promote their goods and services globally.
• Developing policy, attracting investment and providing research to grow Australia’s tourism market share. Austrade also administers various tourism industry support programs.
Austrade is seeking a comprehensive tool or platform (cloud based) to effectively manage Austrade’s global social media function, supporting multiple social media accounts, in a single integrated platform that enables social media practitioners to schedule, publish, tag and report on social media activity across diverse topics.
The tool should enable a cohesive and effective voice to audiences around the world through an integrated scheduling and reporting capability.
There are six primary requirements as specified in the RFT attachment:
1. Content scheduling, publishing and reporting
2. Language integration
3. Monitoring and moderation
4. Data retention (including connectivity and integration)
Other Instructions:
The tender process will require a written response to the Approach to Market requirements. Shortlisted vendors may be required to showcase the tool, walking through scenarios in practice while answering questions in a virtual demonstration to the panel which will form part of the evaluation.
It is proposed to enter into a Contract for a period of 3 years from the date the Contract is entered into.
Conditions for Participation:
1. The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in its tender must not be insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership as at the Closing Time.
2. The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as non-compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as at the Closing Time.
3. Potential Tenderers to provide details of how they will identify, assess and address risks of Modern Slavery practices in the operations and supply chains that will be used in the provision of Goods and/or Services.
4. Potential Tenderers are to adhere to the Security Requirements as specified in item A.A.2(b) of the Approach to Market
Timeframe for Delivery:
Vendors must provide a proposed timeline for set up and onboarding including training, technical set-up and go-live.
Preferred contract start date (to include set-up and testing time) is by Monday 2 June 2025. The full product must be available with all set-up in place for Friday 1 August 2025.
