The City of Kwinana (Principal) requires Contractor/s to provide effective firebreak maintenance within City-managed bushland reserves, firebreak compliance works, fire hazard compliance works and bushfire mitigation services throughout the City of Kwinana.

The Contract includes four (4) separable categories of work:

a)Firebreaks Maintenance within City-managed bushland reserves;

b)Provision of bushfire mitigation works;

c) Fire Compliance related works including firebreak construction and pruning; and

d) Fire Compliance fire hazard removal.

Respondents may bid for multiple categories or a single category only.

The successful Contractors must be appropriately qualified, experienced and resourced to undertake the works, including having access to appropriate specialist machinery for the type of terrain and vegetation to be removed or effectively reduced for effective fire mitigation purposes whilst yet minimising environmental impacts such as excessive soil disturbance or removal, erosion, dieback disease spread and tree damage
