Orange City Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from interested parties for the establishment and Operation of an indoor play facility.

To meet the needs of a growing city and buoyant visitor economy, Orange City Council seeks the Playground to meet the needs of children from 0 to 13 years.

Respondents may also wish to include a secondary play area to meet the needs of children aged 13-16.

To facilitate the establishment and operation of the facility Council is willing to financially support its establishment and/or operation. The level of support from Council would be a key element in assessing the EOI.

The key elements required are:

1. Provision of an indoor playground for a minimum of 3 years.
2. Provide an inclusive, imaginative, challenging and coordinated play experience for the children, young people and carers of the Central NSW Region.
3. Create inspiring play spaces that will excite, challenge and stimulate the children’s imagination for their self-development.
4. Provide a safe environment for children, families and carers to meet and socialise.
5. Establish an accessible facility not only for play but for recreation, learning and time-out for people of all ages and abilities.
