Purpose

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek interest from general practices and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) that may be willing and able to operate a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC), and to facilitate assessment of the practice's capability and readiness to do so.

Process

The purpose of this RFP is to identify interested operators for one Medicare UCC within the Redbank area of the Darling Downs and West Moreton Region. Applications will be assessed by the PHN along with a panel of key stakeholders against several key assessment criteria.

While all RFP's that can meet the minimum requirements (as outlined in the Operational Guidance for Medicare UCCs) will be considered, preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated capability and readiness to operate a Medicare UCC.

To be eligible, the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic must be located within the Redbank area. Please note, relevant practices that previously applied for the Ipswich Medicare Urgent Care Clinic are eligible to apply for the Redbank Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
