Lower Eyre Council (Council) invites expressions of interest (EOI) from investors and experienced and qualified developers for the development of a parcel of prime land in the township of Coffin Bay, Eyre Peninsula to be transformed into a retirement-style living community.

Council is the owner in freehold of Section 669 – Hundred of Lake Wangary comprised in a single Title in the centre of Coffin Bay. The land is zoned Neighbourhood and is in close proximity to the Town Centre area.

This initiative aims to provide high-quality, sustainable, and accessible housing for the senior population within our community.

The parcel of land known as Section 669 is in part identified in the forward guiding plan for the town ship of Coffin Bay, the Coffin Bay Master Plan to be developed for retirement style living. Council is seeking EOIs from parties who wish to acquire the relevant portion of the land to deliver a retirement style living outcome, as endorsed in the Masterplan.
