Boulia Shire Council is seeking to appoint independent Audit Committee members for a three-year term with the option to increase for a further 3 years.

Under the requirements of section 208 of the Local Government Regulation 2012, there is a need for the establishment of an Audit Committee. The terms of reference for the audit committee are pursuant to section 211 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

Relevant audit experience, financial skills, risk management, commercial skills or performance and efficiency monitoring experience would all be considered favourably by the selection panel.

Applications outlining your relevant experience and qualifications, and a current CV must be lodged along with your expression of interest and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer.
