ABOUT SINGLETON: Located at the gateway to the famous Hunter Valley vineyards and surrounded by untouched national parks, Singleton was founded on agriculture, driven by coal and sustained by the Hunter River. Singleton is home to a population of approximately 24,000 who enjoy the diverse food and wine, industry, history, sports and art and culture.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Singleton Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Contractors for the construction works associated with the upgrade and extension of approximately eleven (10.93) km of mountain bike trail (MTB trail) and development of a carpark at 189-221 Pioneer Road, Wattle Ponds NSW 2330.
REGISTRATION: Tender documents can be downloaded via Singleton Councils e-tendering portal after registration has been completed.
ENQUIRIES: All tender enquiries should be directed to the tender online forum via the e-tendering portal.
SUBMISSIONS: Completed responses can ONLY be submitted via the electronic tender box provided in the format provided as per the Conditions of Tendering. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tender Form and any other declaration required filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The Tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
A MANDATORY PRE-TENDER/SITE MEETING: Will be held with further details and registration process located within T2024.020 - Part 1 - Request for Tender and Conditions of Tendering.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tender close at 2.30pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST or Australian Eastern Daylight Time AEDT, whichever is applicable in NSW at the time of tender close) on Tuesday 27 August 2024.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful Tenderers as it sees fit.
