Tender Description
The Principal is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of Design and Construct for the supply and install for Cowes PRV Upgrade as described under scope of works.
Scope of Works: Scope of works are installation of a new above-ground PRV arrangement, the removal of the current underground arrangement, and other necessary upgrade works to the site.
The nominated scope for the project is:
• Removal of existing PRV and flow meter pits
• Removal of existing pipework
• Civil works:
• Gravel hardstand
• Concrete crossover
• Drain culvert and headwalls
• Concrete slab
• Below ground pipework
• Bollards x6
• Mechanical works:
• Above ground pipework
• PRV sizing and arrangement design with provision for future PRV
• PRV, flow meter and other inline equipment installation
• Pipe supports
• Electrical works
• Existing control cabinet removal
• New pit to replace existing control cabinet
• New communications and electrical cables to the new cabinet
• New switchboard
• Electrical and communications cables to PRV, flow meter etc.
• Sheet panel enclosure
• Welded woven wire mesh enclosures
• Cyclone security fence and gates
