North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) is responsible for providing high-quality public sector health services. To fulfill this responsibility, NWHHS requires a number of facilities that are accessible, equitable and of high quality. The State of Queensland, represented by Queensland Health, has recently acquired three allotments at 9 Isa Street, Mount Isa.

There are three existing buildings on these allotments. These buildings are not, however, fit for purpose for use by NWHHS. NWHHS requires the demolition of these three buildings before more appropriate facilities can be built on the land.

NWHHS therefore invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to demolish a premises in Mount Isa, formerly known as ‘The Club’ (the project). Further details of the project, as well as survey plans, are located at ‘Attachment 3 – Specifications’.
