The City of Whyalla owns and operates on behalf of it its community, numerous building facilities. These facilities house internal and external operations and are essential for the Council to continue providing quality services to its rate payers.​​​

Council is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced security contractor(s) to undertake security services to Council’s facilities in a professional manner, providing a high standard of presentation and professionalism at all times.

The contract will run for a 3-year period PLUS two rights of renewal at one year each (at Council’s discretion - subject to satisfactory performance & budget approvals). The anticipated start date for the contract will be 1 December 2024.

The contract may be awarded as separable contracts for the following security requirements:

Part 1

Opening and locking of various sites

Patrols of various sites

Part 2

Alarm monitoring and routine inspections of security equipment at Council sites

Money collection and banking
