The City of Victor Harbor is located on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, about 80 kilometres south of Adelaide. It is the largest population centre of the Fleurieu Peninsula region and is considered the hub of the southern Fleurieu.

The Council performs its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act 1999 and has a wide range of statutory obligations under State and Federal legislation.

The Council has decided to upgrade the existing facility to enable Disability Discrimination Act 2001 (DDA) compliant general public access to the local amenities block known as the ‘Investigator Toilet’ located adjacent to the Investigator Carpark (at Dump Beach), First Ave, Harborough, SA 5211. As part of the upgrade, a new structure is planned and a fit out of new internal fittings in order to address the ageing facilities. A recycled timber cladding will add texture the exterior walls and create a coastal theme. While upgrades to the surrounding pavement will improve access and egress.
