The University is looking to purchase two radiopharmaceutical synthesisers which will be installed in the radiochemistry research facilities of Sydney Imaging to support preclinical and clinical PET research.

These systems will also be part of a distributed NSW radiochemistry network comprising the USYD and UNSW National Facility nodes.

Some mandatory requirements of this tender are that that the offered system or systems must be able to synthesise a wide range of PET Radiopharmaceuticals, based on 18F,11C,68GA and other PET Radiometals, for use in preclinical (animal) and clinical imaging.

This requirement may be met using one of the following technologies:

1. Vessel based reactors with reconfigurable tubing

2. Interchangeable cassettes (including Microfluidic systems)

PROJECT TIMING

The tender will be released in the mid-August 2024 timeframe and be on open for 2 weeks
