Central Highlands Water (CHW) is seeking submissions for an Operator for six of its Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) that supports not only the operations and maintenance of these water treatment plants to deliver great tasting and safe drinking water to the Central Highlands Region and its communities but an Operator that shares CHWs vision of 'Fostering sustainable living, thriving communities and a healthy environment'. Central Highlands Water is committed to working collaboratively with an Operator to bring to life our vision and purpose 'to care for our community and environment ensuring essential water services are safe, reliable and affordable now and in the future'.

CHW is excited by the prospect of working with an Operator that can innovate and seek to find opportunities to deliver efficient and optimised solutions in the delivery of the Services. The opportunities in this space are broad from highly operational through to blue sky thinking around aspects such as climate adaptation and emissions reduction. Our view is the opportunities are only limited by our own thinking.

This is a long-term relationship with an Operator that allows both parties to thrive and develop over the term of the Agreement. CHW wants to see the Operator achieve its objectives from this relationship as much as it wants to achieve its own.

The Contract will be a Fixed Fee and Variable Fee Contract with annual escalation.

The Contract will reflect a fifteen (15) year Term with an option at CHW's sole discretion to extend for a Further Term of five (5) years, and an option for a further extension.
