Orange City Council will transform the centre of Orange into the ultimate street party on November 2, with Zest Fest 2024 in Robertson Park.

And the call is out for bands to join the party.

Picture this: the finest local food, bars and wineries, market stalls and family activities combined with contemporary music headlined by ARIA award-winning Aussie band, The Rubens.

Council is excited to call for expressions for interest from contemporary music artists. We are looking for musicians that meet specific criteria to help us curate our line-up.

Zest Fest offers a unique opportunity for music artists to showcase their material in a festival atmosphere in front of a diverse audience of thousands of music-lovers.

Artists will have the chance to present their work to a diverse audience and contribute to the festival’s lively atmosphere.

Orange Mayor Jason Hamling encourages all music artists interested in joining in the fun to submit an application.

Music artists interested in participating in Zest Fest 2024 are encouraged to submit their expressions of interest by visiting https://www.zestfest.com.au/eoi/.

Criteria includes:

• Play original music only
• Have an alternate or indie or similar sound
• Are currently actively playing gigs

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 14 August, and selected music artists will be notified shortly afterwards.
