Cessnock Council is seeking organisations that can offer novated leasing options to staff for Motor vehicle leasing. This process shall establish a panel of suppliers that have been reviewed and found to offer the best options for employees to access under the scheme.

Staff whom wish to sign up to a salary packaging arrangement involving a novated lease offering which will offer Value for money, variety of brands and models. These should include fossil fuel, hybrid and electric options for staff.

Other running costs of the vehicle such as fuel, insurance, registration, service and maintenance may form part of the arrangement and any other innovative offers.

Council will require reporting cycles to be provided to Council for GST and FBT purposes in line with the FBT Act. Council also notes that no FBT Liability should be forwarded to council.

Council has an employee base of 344 Indoor staff and 176 outdoor in total 520.
