Council is seeking quotations for the supply and delivery of one new 8x4 cab chassis truck fitted with a steel water tank and auxiliary equipment.

It will be expected that the truck supplier will be the primary contractor and will liaise with the body builder to coordinate the fitting of the water tank and auxiliary equipment so that when the truck is delivered, inductions can be conducted and the truck put to work.

The truck will be used on Council’s unsealed roads and will be required to fill from small stock dams. It will need to have a strong, suitable hitch point at the rear for when being used in conjunction with Council’s stabiliser.

The quoted price will cover the cost of delivery to Gilgandra Shire Council’s Depot.
