Key objectives of the Digital Tower are to:

- Support Yagan Square as a regionally significant event destination, highly valued by the people of Perth that celebrates the unique spirit of Western Australia;

- Complement Yagan Square's key attractions, features and program of festivals, events, and entertainment;

- Foster community collaboration;

- Promote digital art and media;

- Entertain visitors through the use of interactive digital technology;

- Incorporate opportunities for the creative use of the screen; and

- Consider appropriate commercial opportunities which can assist in funding the screen operations.

The curation and broadcast of community and cultural content on the Digital Tower is managed by DevelopmentWA.

The broadcast of content on the Yagan Square Digital Tower will be in accordance with the Yagan Square Multimedia Screen Content and Usage Guidelines.
