Central Queensland University is seeking Proposals for Residential College Cleaning at Canefield College Mackay and Capricornia College in Rockhampton.

Services includes cleaning student accommodation, staff accomodation, common rooms and ad-hoc accommodation cleaning.

The tender is split into two separable portions to encourage local suppliers to apply:

• Separable Portion 1: Capricornia College, located at the Rockhampton North campus, includes a variety of housing options ranging from single student rooms and common bathrooms, or ensuited rooms, with residents eating in a communal dining hall and four houses of single rooms and common bathrooms and a shared kitchen, and 10 motel-style guest rooms across the 347-room residence. Several shared recreation and study spaces are also part of the college and cleaning scope. CQU’s Vice-Chancellor’s residence is also located here.
• Separable Portion 2: Canefield College, located at the Mackay Ooralea campus, offers 112 modern rooms with 12 self-catered low-set houses, 72 studio rooms in a three-story high-rise, as well as four self-contained flats for CQUniversity Staff.

Respondents can nominate to tender for one, or both sites depending on their capabilities.

It does not include general office cleaning for the non-residential college campus buildings.

CQUniversity will hold mandatory site visits for each of the locations.  Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
