The works scope covers the construction of underground drainage, kerb and channel pavement construction and ancillary works.

This project comprises a total of four stages. This contract relates to Stage 1 and 2 only.

The construction will need to be undertaken in a manner that allows access to local residents and maintains 24-hour traffic flows along Jingellic Road.

I am preparing a price for this project it should be noted that Council will supply 15 V-drain pit lids for inclusion in the works for the swale drain pits. These covers are available free on ground from Culcairn.

Tenderers are advised that concrete produced from the demolition of existing works may be removed to the Holbrook landfill site without incurring tipping charges. Concrete waste that contains asbestos shall re-classify the entire stockpile as contaminated waste and shall be incur charges to the contractor at Councils standard rates plus disposal costs.

It's expected that a tender report will be submitted to the October 2024 Council meeting.
