The dry hire of plant and equipment to the NSW Soil Conservation Service on a panel arrangement.

Project goals

The Department proposes to establish a panel for the provision of dry hired plant and equipment services within all of New South Wales (Panel). This RFT seeks responses from suppliers able to supply the goods and services outlined in the Statement of Requirements.

Scope

The Soil Conservation Service's business activities require various dry hired plant and equipment to undertake contracted fee for service project works involving creek restoration, fire trail maintenance, conservation earthworks, access tracks and coastal erosion control.

The Services consist of dry hire of plant and equipment to the NSW Soil Conservation Service, for example:

• Trucks (including tipper trucks, water trucks, dump trucks)
• Excavators
• Loaders (including backhoe, skid steer, wheeled loaders)
• Bulldozers
• Graders
• Rollers
• Vegetation equipment (including tractors, stump grinders, brush/woodchippers, spray units)
• Other non-specified plant and equipment that you believe may be of benefit to SCS as detailed in your response to the Department's Request for Tenders.
