The works covered by the Specification includes replacement of equipment and associated works necessary to comply with the latest regulatory and code requirements, in relation to the three (3) existing hydraulic lifts, namely Lift No's 12, 13, 18, installed at Federation Square located at Cnr Swanston & Flinders Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

It is the intention of the Specification that the entire project will be a tur-key solution, under the sole management of the Lift Contractor, which includes the decommissioning and removal of any redundant equipment, the provision of all materials, installation, commissioning, testing, all compliance requirements and inclusive of a defects liability period of the equipment installed.

Broadly speaking the works comprises of the complete removal of the existing three (3) hydraulic lifts, and in the space vacated, the installation of three (3) new high quality machine-room-less (MRL) passenger lifts into the existing liftwell structures.

A briefing session will be held at Corner Swanston and Flinders St, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3000 on 4 September 2024 11:00 am.

Notes: A mandatory site briefing will be held at Federation Square corner Swanston & Flinders Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Meet at entrance of Crossbar Building.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
