The Organisation
Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.
Scope Overview
Western Power is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced companies for the provision of Staff Relocation and/or Immigration Services.
The Services can include, but are not limited to:
A. Support staff in relocating themselves, families, and household goods from National and International locations. Common services include: flights, freight movement (furniture, pets (interstate only) etc.), car hire.
B. Provide on-boarding services to assist relocated staff in settling into their new locations in metro and regional areas around the Southwest of Western Australia, including family assistance services (i.e. school search).
C. Support the Visa and Permanent Residency processes, applications and notifications to enable overseas staff to work in Australia.
D. Obtain guidance and advice on new and existing Immigration legislation within Australia.
E. Short-term and permanent accommodation across the Southwest Interconnected Network (SWIN)*.
*SWIN is the primary electricity network in Western Australia, covering the state's south-western corner. It includes Perth, the capital city, and extends north to Kalbarri, south to Albany, and east to Kalgoorlie.
EOI Requirements
Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the EOI submission:
1. Demonstrate track record and capability in delivering the Services in relation to the high-level scope requirements stated above:
• Include a brief history of the company addressing the period of time operating, the number of full-time employees and the principal location of the company.
• Area of interest: above mentioned scope items A, B, C, D, E – are you interested in providing a full range of services or only certain categories in particular.
2. List of any current contracts delivering comparable works within the last five years.
3. Reference from at least three customers who have been offered similar services.
4. Contact name, phone number and email address.
