Council is inviting expressions of interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified community members to form the Community Grants Independent Review Panel (IRP). The IRP will provide support to Council regarding its Community Grants Program subject to its Terms of Reference.

An induction and training session will be provided as required and an honorarium is offered.

The Independent Review Panel will meet to:

- provide independent review and finalise funding recommendations to Council.

- confirm that guidelines and assessment criteria have been applied consistently and fairly.

The following criteria will be applied to expressions of interest:

- Applicants must live, work, study, volunteer in or be able to demonstrate another affiliation with Maribyrnong.

- Have relevant proven experience, skills and qualifications in community development, health promotion and/or community services.

- Have an understanding and experience of community grant making processes.

- Be familiar and have an understanding of the issues our priority communities may experience.

- Where possible, panel members will reflect the diversity of the City of Maribyrnong.
