Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is a modern fire and rescue service that meets the needs of twenty-first century Victoria.
The new organisation was established on 1 July 2020 as part of Victoria’s Fire Services Reforms. We serve and protect communities across Melbourne and Victoria’s major regional centres.
There are 85 FRV stations located across the state. FRV Firefighters respond to fires, complex rescues, road crashes, emergency medical calls and hazardous chemical spills.
Our people are highly trained and ready to respond to emergencies across Victoria, Australia, and the world.
FRV is seeking tender for the provision of vertical transport Inspection & compliance services at nominated Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) sites across the State of Victoria to comply with the following obligations:
- The State of Victoria’s Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017, as may be amended from to time.
- The NCC Building Code of Australia – Volume One parts as applicable.
- AS 1735.1:2022 – (Lift Code) and relevant sections of AS 1735 suite of documents as may apply to each type of vertical transport plant and equipment under this contract.
- AS 1735.10(Int):1998 (testing of Lifts) whether it be withdrawn or not.
- AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules
- AS 1657:2018 Fixed Platforms, Walkways, Stairways and Ladders
- AS 2293.1 Emergency lighting – parts as applicable to Lifts
- Water Act 1989
- AS 1319 Safety Signs for the Occupational Environment
To progress to the area of the online questions, you must first meet the requirements of pre-qualification including attachment/provision of required documents.

- On the next page, click the response button under the completion bar.
- A new screen will be displayed, click the start button on the bottom right-hand side and all questions and attachments will be provided for you to complete through the portal.
NOTE: Make sure you complete the questions as directed and save your work on a regular basis to avoid data loss. You can download a copy of your submission PRIOR to the closing date and time.
IMPORTANT- SUPPORTING INFORMATION MUST BE ATTACHED TO EACH RESPECTIVE QUESTION AND NOT UPLOADED UP FRONT AS YOUR RESPONSE. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY ELIMANTE YOUR SUBMISSION.
