Tender Description
Alpine Resorts Victoria is a suitably qualified provider to deliver appropriate medical centre services at the alpine resorts of Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek during the snow season (June to September).
Ideally, interested providers will prepare a proposal for operating all three medical centre services, to be best positioned to achieve operational and administrative efficiencies. However, ARV will also consider proposals from providers that wish to operate one or two services.
Delivery of trauma service is the priority for ARV, as the main types of patient presentations at the alpine resorts are trauma-related injuries resulting from skiing or other injuries incurred at the resorts. The provision of GP services is at the discretion of the provider in alignment with their own commercial business model.

A briefing session will be held on 2 September 2024 02:00 pm.
Notes: An optional online briefing session will be held on Monday 2 September 2024 at 2pm-3:30pm via Microsoft Teams to enable service providers to ask any questions in relation to the specifications. Site visits to each alpine resort medical centre will be held on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 September 2024. Both of these are optional however the site visits are strongly encouraged so service providers can best understand the layout and facilities of the medical centres, as well as the uniqueness of the alpine environment. Service providers must register to attend either of these opportunities by contacting the project manager ahead of time via gillian.dobson@alpineresorts.vic.gov.au.
