The City of Darebin seeks a qualified service provider to supply new laptop devices in alignment with Council’s Social and Sustainable Procurement Policy. This project involves the bulk purchase, optional autopilot pre-provisioning of new laptops for deployment and optional trade-in or disposal of old devices.

The successful service provider will be required to deliver the following:

• Supply of new laptops

• Manage the trade-in or disposal of old devices

• Provide a robust warranty and support package including a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Service Level Rebates (SLR) to guarantee device reliability and performance.

• Options for 3 and 5-year support and warranty is required with the final decision on options determined by Council and accepted by the awarded Supplier.

• Provide regular driver and firmware updates to maintain optimal device operation.

• Provide optional device rollout management that includes efficient processes for device rollout, recovery or reset.

• Provide necessary training and support materials to IT Administrators and end users.

The estimated contract commencement date for the contract is January 2025. Depending on the options awarded, Council anticipates the supply & delivery will be completed by June 2025.
