Wollongong City Council wishes to engage an experienced and suitably qualified sporting field design consultant for the development of a site layout and detailed levels for Stage 1 of the proposed Darkes District Sporting & Community Hub project. Council identified the need for a new sporting and community precinct to service future residential development in the West Dapto Urban Release Area and developed the precinct masterplan in 2021.

The successful consultant will be required to further develop the masterplan to incorporate identified constraints including but not limited to flooding and site grading. Development of the precinct masterplan shall include detailed earthworks and grading for the site, flood modelling and concept design of adjacent roads.

The successful design consultant shall also provide a written specification to support Council in proceeding to a detailed design and construction delivery model for the project. Refer to the consultants brief document for detailed requirements.
