Tender Description
Through this Request for Tender (RFT), the Melbourne Market Authority (MMA) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the Design and Construction (D&C) of Multiple Minor Works Projects.
Projects consisting of;
- A Cafe conversion / relocation, relocating an existing Cafe Tenancy to a new Tenancy located in the Market. Consisting of new and existing fit-out.
- The Original Cafe Tenancy conversion to a Store Cool Room.
- The Repair of the EFS2 building following an electrical fire. A like-for-like repair originally housing electric buggies, forklifts, etc.
- A new Truck Wash Bay in an existing carpark area of the Market, adjacent the EFS2 building.
- Gate 1 in-situ remediation works due to metal corrosion.
- Gate 3 in-situ remediation works due to metal corrosion.
The purpose of the RFT is identify the most appropriate organisation(s) with a demonstrated capacity to manage all aspects of the project including design, construction, commissioning and provide maintenance/ replacement during the warranty period.

Please note:
- The closing date for the tender is 5:45 pm on Friday, 23rd September 2024.
- Any questions or clarifications regarding the RFT must be submitted by 5:45 pm on Tuesday, 17th September 2024.
- Until the signed confidentiality agreement and commitment letter are received, MMA will not be issuing the additional tender documents. Please sign and return them to libby.speranza@apac.bgis.com.

Tenderer Briefing Session
A briefing session will be held at 1 / 55 Produce Drive, Epping, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 3076 on 28 August 2024 10:00 am.
Notes: Wear High vis and closed shoes.Allow 2 hours for site visit.Site has zero drug and alcohol policy.
A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
