The provision of a quality assured contract for the Green Spine Shared Path and Chandler Road Road Renewal, Tormore Reserve to Albert Avenue.

This contract includes the following parts:

Part A – Green Spine Shared Path, Tormore Reserve to Dorset Road;

Part B – Green Spine Shared Path, Dorset Road to Allandale Road;

Part C – Green Spine Shared Path, Allandale Road to Albert Avenue;

Part D – Chandler Road Road Renewal, Dorset Road to Allandale Road;

Part E – Chandler Road Road Renewal, Allandale Road to Albert Avenue.

Tenderers are requested to price this tender as set out in the schedules to allow Council to award the tender as one package.

Tenderers should be aware that Part A is to be prioritised and must have commenced by no later than 18 November 2024, and be completed and fully reconciled by 31 January 2025. Parts B, C, D & E may be scheduled separately from Part A and can be delivered over two financial years (2024/25 – 2025/26). However, construction works shall be scheduled such that the majority of works are to be completed, and claimed for, by 30 June 2025. The construction budget available for 2024/25 is approximately $1.75M. The remaining budget, if required, shall be made available from 1 July 2025 to complete the payments and works must be completed and fully reconciled by 31 October 2025.

Tenderers shall provide an indicative Works Program that adequately reflects their intentions to deliver this project within the budget limitations outlined above.

Tenderers for this project are to be pre-qualified with the Civil Contractors Federation or Council approved equivalent.
