The purpose of this specification and associated drawings are to document “extent of work(s)” required to provide a fixed-price contract to undertake Aquatic Remedial Construction for the Sunbury Aquatic Centre in relation to the 50m Outdoor Lap Pool and Learner Outdoor Pool.

The scope of works and performance criteria within this specification and associated drawings is basis for design intent, all necessary detailed design and co-ordination as required to prepare detailed shop drawings shall be the responsibility of the Principal Contactor (the contractor).

Where this specification or drawing(s) nominate a higher quality or standard of workmanship and or materials than those nominated in the relevant Standards or Regulations; the aquatic sub-contractor shall allow compliance with the higher or greater standard of workmanship or material. Any anomalies or discrepancies between the specification and drawing(s) shall be reported to an engineer from this office for clarification.

The requirements of this specification including all detailed design, documentation and the complete installation of the works shall be accepted by the contractor
