The Department of Human Services (DHS) Community Connections Program (CCP) is seeking to engage five (5) Aboriginal Businesses as Aboriginal Community Partners (ACPs) in regional and remote South Australia.
The role of ACPs is to provide a range of culturally appropriate, flexible services to support Aboriginal people to strengthen and protect their social and emotional wellbeing through a (non-clinical) focus on connection to community, culture and services, and building a sense of belonging. ACPs will deliver a culturally appropriate response to support the achievement of the CCP’s overarching participant outcomes, in line with the Participant Level Theory of Change (refer CCP Guidelines), of:
• Enhanced wellbeing
• Increased community participation
• Improved social connection.
