Tender Description
Maroochy Research Facility requires construction of: -
• new combined water main
• pumps, tanks and fire hydrants.
Suppliers are invited to quote for one or both portions of the works.
Combined water main must connect to existing site water supply manifold and new meter (to be installed by Unitywater)
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Construction includes:
• Supply of labour and materials
• Earthworks
• Mark out and survey
• Clearing of the site
• Engagement of appropriate certifiers
• Applicable fees
• Final site clean
During construction, all other services in ground on site must not be interrupted or impaired (e.g. NBN, electricity, water and sewage pipes). Ground survey of site must be undertaken to located existing services before construction commences.
All construction must be completed within 16 weeks from start date. Commission and certification will be dependent upon installation of new water meter by Unitywater and connection of site to new water main.
Liaise with DAF site manager regarding any interruption of water supply at the time of final connection.
