ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The Gilgandra local government area is situated in the central west of NSW and covers an area of 4800 square kilometers, including the township of Gilgandra and three smaller villages of Tooraweenah, Armatree, and Curban.
Gilgandra is located at the junction of the Newell, Oxley, and Castlereagh Highways. It is 432 km north-west of Sydney and 60 km north of Dubbo and is located approximately halfway on the inland route from Melbourne to Brisbane.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Gilgandra Shire Council approved a development application for a light industrial subdivision at 97, Warren Road, Gilgandra. Council is now planning to construct the subdivision that comprises 12 industrial lots.

ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum (see option below).
SUBMISSIONS: Gilgandra Shire Council requests tenderers to submit their tender via the electronic tender box (see option below) using either the attached Word or PDF version of the Schedule.
LOCAL PURCHASING POLICY: Gilgandra Shire Council has a local purchasing policy however in this tender the selection criteria overrides the policy.
STATEMENT OF BUSINESS ETHICS: Gilgandra Shire Council will undertake this tender in accordance with its Statement of Business Ethics.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders close at 11am on Friday, 20 September 2024 and submissions must be FULLY RECEIVED BY THIS TIME. The Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
