This Request for Tender ("RFT") is made by the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) for the provision and ongoing supply of variety of simulator manikins and the associated servicing for purposes of the state-of-the-art nursing and midwifery simulation laboratories at UTS as defined in the Statement of Requirement of this RFT.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Subject to UTS discretion, it is envisaged that the term of the proposed agreement will be based on an initial purchase of 58 Systems over three years (2024 to 2026) and associated services delivered within the agreed timeframe with the successful tenderer.

This is to be followed by non-binding, fixed price anticipated purchases of 1 to 10 systems and associated services per year over the following 4 to 5 years, subject to agreed standing offer arrangement. Extension of the Agreement is considered by UTS, subject to the successful tenderer performance over the term of the agreement and its systems and other deliverables pricing competitiveness.

Please ensure your responses consider pricing variations mechanism, based on publicly accessible indices, where the standing offer pricing for the duration of the contract cannot be fixed.

RFT OBJECTIVES:

a) To procure an initial batch of various simulator manikin types in accordance with UTS functional & performance specifications "the Systems"

b) To procure professional ongoing warranty, maintenance and other support services for the Systems.

c) Secure commercially competitive pricing for future purchases of the Systems and other associated services "the Deliverables" via open market RFT;

d) Reduce the total life cost of the System and associated Deliverables;

e) Effective management of risks;

f) Compliance with all applicable laws, standards, codes, and policies;

g) On time delivery.

h) Deliver the project on or above the set KPIs

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

Submissions must be fully received by 14:00 AEST Thursday 19 September 2024.

UTS is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or any part of a submission and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Late, verbal, faxed, mailed, or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
