Tender Description

Multicultural Grants Program (MGP) Celebrate provides migrant and multicultural communities in the Northern Territory with funding for projects, events or activities that promote: social inclusion; cohesion; multicultural diversity; linguistic diversity.

Round 2 of the MGP Celebrate 2024-25 will be open from 1 - 30 September 2024. This round generally covers projects, events and activities from January to June 2025.

Before applying for a grant please read section 1 of the Multicultural Grants Program Guidelines carefully.

Who can apply
Funding is available to not for profit organisations only.
To be eligible for funding an organisation must

  • be operating as a not for profit organisation
  • be physically located and actively operating in the NT
Types of organisations that are eligible for funding include

  • Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated multicultural community organisations
  • Not-for-profit unincorporated multicultural community organisation that has an auspice organisation that has agreed to administer the grant
  • Other incorporated, not-for-profit and/or charitable organisations where a proposed project meet the grant aim and criteria

Project / Service Commencement 01/01/2025 8:00 AMOnce a financial agreement is finalised, activities must occur within the agreed timeframe, A change of purpose, i.e. variation, may be considered however must be negotiated with the Office of Multicultural Affairs in writing by completing a variation request form prior to the original completion date.
