Tender Description
The AgriFutures Ginger Program aims to support a sustainable, growing and prosperous industry. The Program’s Research, Development & Extension (RD&E) Plan (2022-2027) identifies four key priorities areas focused on ensuring a continued premium for Australian ginger:
- High quality and sustainable production systems
- Market opportunities
- Technology and innovation
- Industry engagement
To support Priorities 1-3 of the RD&E Plan, this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is seeking services to conduct review(s) of domestic and international research of ginger (Zingiber officinale) on a variety of topics:
- Existing research of pest and disease management,
- Eating qualities and medicinal benefits and
- Economic studies on the cultivation and selling of ginger.
