The City of Melville ("City") is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the remediation, and reconstruction works of the Majestic Close Boardwalk Renewal Project located on the southern side of the Swan River Estuary, Dundas Point, Applecross.

The boardwalk forms an access way from the South-Western end of Dundas Point to the Eastern side of Dundas Point to Jeff Joseph Reserve. The walkway exists within an estuary in a severe marine environment. The boardwalk is approximately 240 metres in length and typically 2.5 metres in width. The boardwalk has a viewing platform located at the North-Western end that measures approximately 7x9 metres. The primary beams of the boardwalk were originally supported on steel piles and the limestone retaining wall which also retains the adjacent properties
