Greater Western Water is a leading metropolitan water corporation in Melbourne responsible for providing water, trade waste and sewerage services to Melbourne's CBD, inner and western suburbs.

Sunbury is about to undergo significant growth. This will require substantial augmentations to the network to provide a sufficient potable water supply.

The purpose of this project is to deliver the following assets:

•  A new potable Water Pump Station (WPS) at Holden Tank; and
•  A new transfer main pipe between Holden Tank site and GWW's Bald Hill tanks.

Greater Western Water requests tenders from suitably qualified contractors to provide Design Services for this important project.

The scope of services is fully set out in the RFT documentation, and includes:

•  Develop a detail design to IFC drawings and supporting documentation
•  Develop Tender Specifications required for next Construction tender stage
•  Undertake all relevant site investigations (CHMP excluded - undertaken by others)
•  Stakeholder and Community management
•  Obtain all relevant permits and approvals

Tenderers should particularly note the following:

•  Part A.1 Section 9 of the RFT documentation requires Tenderers to submit a fully signed Deed of Confidentiality prior to being granted access to the Data Room for this procurement;
•  This procurement is subject to the Supplier Code of Conduct, Local Jobs First Policy, Fair Jobs Code and Social Procurement Framework.
•  From 1 September 2024 all suppliers wishing to do business with the Victorian Government must hold a Fair Jobs Code pre-assessment certificate prior to tender submission. Therefore, Suppliers wishing to respond to this upcoming RFT are advised to apply for a Fair Jobs Code pre-assessment certificate now, via the following link:
