Tender Details
Tender Description
The Australian Government is inviting organisations or a consortium of organisations to establish the Disability Employment Centre of Excellence via an open competitive process under Outcome 3: Disability and Carers – Program 3.1 – Disability, Mental Health and Careers of the Department of Social Services’ Portfolio Budget Statement from 28 February 2024 to 30 June 2028.
The purpose of the Centre of Excellence is to provide resources, tools and training to help providers deliver quality employment services and supports to both participants with disability and employers.
The Centre of Excellence will be an evidence-informed, best-practice hub that collects and translates employment-related research and evidence of what works, converts this to best-practice resources and disseminates and promotes these resources. The Centre of Excellence will bring together and use existing resources available both nationally and internationally.
The Centre of Excellence will improve the quality of services by providers of the new specialist disability employment program, Workforce Australia, the Community Development Program (CDP), the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and supported employment — including Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs).
