Council currently has two (2) EV charging stations located in the carpark of the Local Government Centre located at 2 Seventh Street, Murray Bridge.

These charging stations were installed in July 2018 Council and were provided as a free service.

In July 2024 Council resolved to convert these to a pay per use charging station.

Council is seeking interest to take over the operation and management of these sites or remove and replace with new stations and take over the operation and management of those.

In addition to this, Council is also seeking to plan for an EV Charging Station Network across the Council district and is seeking suitable locations and proposals as part of this EOI.
