Norfolk Island Regional Council is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to provide the following services within the Waste Management Centre on Norfolk Island.

The successful supplier is required to provide the following services:

• Ability to operate small tipper trucks and forklift, excavator, bobcat, loader operations.

• Fully licensed or deemed competent for the above equipment.

• Tasks will include working with food waste and animal offal for our composting operations.

• Car crushing operation.

• E-waste sorting and packing for shipments off island. Handling waste oils and batteries.

• Working with builder’s waste and bulky plastics.

• Trucking green waste to stockpiles once shredding operations are completed.

• The provision of general outdoor labour for all work undertaken at WMC. Willing to learn shredder operation and general upkeep of shredder.

Applications should address the above criteria and include:

• Relevant experience and/or qualifications in the service.

• Current Public Liability Insurance and other relevant insurance policies.

• Your availability to provide the service up until 30 June 2026.

• The hourly rate to provide the service.

• A disclosure of any current or foreseeable conflicts of interest.
