Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is seeking an Expressions of Interest of suitably qualified contractors for the construction of the Stage 1 - St Declan's Penshurst Redevelopment Project.

As a response to continued growth, a preliminary site assessment was developed for a 3-stream school.

The assessment highlighted a need for additional teaching space, a significant deficit in Admin and Staff spaces, an undersized hall/gathering space for the school and community, a lack of street presence for the school, and connectivity issues for the school due to the location of the parish office interfering with school function.

The project will involve:

- Providing new learning facilities for the expansion into a 3-stream school.

- Providing appropriate staff and administration areas as required for a 3-stream primary school.

- Providing a school gathering area and/or multipurpose hall for school and community events.

- Upgrade learning spaces to allow a 3-stream teaching model, and flexible learning environments for diverse needs.
