What is a Fiordland alpine highway and wilderness bespoke themed playground?

• Mountains

• Native birds relative to the area

• Wind

90% of the equipment currently in the playground is at the end of its life which will need to be removed. The remaining 10% of equipment is still in good condition.

Lake Te Anau is the largest lake in the South Island and is popular for its local activities, which include scenic flights, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, water activities, glow worm caves and exploring the bird sanctuary (Kaka, Kea and Takahe birds in particular).

The playground will need to be compliant with the current playground standards NZS 5828:2015 and ongoing operating costs will need to be taken into consideration.
