Junee Shire Council seeks suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide traffic control services for 2024/25.

The scope of works includes the provision of traffic control for various projects on urban and rural roads throughout Junee Shire Council including on Highways and Regional Roads. The contractor will be expected to work under Junee Shire Councils safety, environment, quality and traffic management systems.

The works program includes regular traffic management works on the Olympic Highway and Goldfields Way between October and March, along with varied works on local and regional roads throughout the year. Some overnight call outs occur.

Tenders are to submit the following documentation:

1) Completed and signed Schedule of Tendered Rates

2) Copies of tenderer’s insurances (public liability $20M, workers compensation)

3) Copies of tenderer’s SWMSs (signed Safe Work Method Statements)

4) Example plant pre-start checklist

5) Copies of traffic control tickets.

6) Copies of workers on foot movement training tickets, copies of chain of responsibility training tickets – if you any of your operator/driver has not done this training,

Council will organise this training for you at your cost prior to commencing any job.

7) and all other relevant insurances.

The contract will be initially signed for one year. Council may extend the agreement up to two occurrences, for another one-year period, based on the assessment outcome of contractor’s/supplier’s performance, provision of the appropriate insurances and the rates at the end of each financial year
