The City of Melville is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the refurbishment works to the existing Men's Shed building. The refurbishment works are to improve the accessibility to and within the facility and upgrade the amenities to standard.
Accessibility works include the supply and installation of a lift in the main foyer area, upgrade of existing stairs, and provision of a new accessible car bay at the entrance.
Amenity improvements include the upgrade of existing toilets to meet ambulant requirements, a new UAT on the ground floor, a new tea prep on the ground floor and a new kitchen and common area on the first floor.
The contractor is required to program commencement of the works on site back from the installation completion date of the lift to minimise operational disruption.
