The project aims to secure new Preventative Maintenance (PM) service agreements for the 185 dishwashers used across 150 public hospitals.

Project goals

To promote a state-wide engagement of a panel of providers across multiple regions to carry out the scheduled preventative maintenance services for essential commercial dishwashers at the Patient Service & Planning Sites across NSW Health.

Scope

Suppliers are required to provide preventative maintenance services for commercial dishwashers across NSW Health Patient Service & Planning sites within NSW Health. To prevent business disruptions, extend the equipment's useful life, and ensure the continuous delivery of quality services to patients. To achieve these goals, there is a need to review and establish new service agreements with providers to ensure cost-effective and compliant maintenance practices.

The service frequency requirements are as follows:

• Pass-Through Type Dishwashers – Annual Services
• Rack-Conveyor Type Dishwashers – 6-Monthly Services
• Flight Type Dishwashers – Quarterly Services
